Wind instruments for multiple simultaneous players. When activated, the player’s collective exhalations mix together to create a sound, in a collaborative and combative battle of the breaths. Based on the idea of physical dependence in collaboration, these instruments require multiple people to create a sound- they cannot be played alone. These instruments ask the question-- how close is too close?
