Corpus (Cocoon)

Spun Glass, 28”x28”x25”, 2020

A mass of woven glass. Thousands of delicate glass threads are tightly wound into this cocoon. This object is the result of a durational performance in which I spun glass for 24 hours. The end result is a  luminous form that gently slumps under its own weight.
